Alkaff Mansion Wedding

That scene of Annie’s dad passionately strumming the chords of Romance d’amour at her wedding dinner at Alkaff Mansion is still vividly etched in my head. I remember the stark silence of the crowd echoing the awe and sobriety accorded to Annie’s dad for his special performance (to honour her daughter’s marriage). It certainly caused many eyes to well up that night. Such are the moments that get to us, and these are what make their celebration so much more personal.

These days, weddings tend to be more unconventional, but the underlying love, respect, traditions and values among families remain the same. Roy and Annie definitely loved hard, laughed/cried hard and also partied hard the whole night long 🤗
