Ever since we moved out from our parents’ place, we have never thought much about how lucky we are to be able to visit them as and when we like. These 2 months took that privilege away from us, albeit for the safety of them, and the community. And we felt somewhat lost at times, along with a sense of emptiness.

It is certainly not easy to be apart from your loved ones; parents and siblings you grew up with. We really miss the face to face interactions, and the simple catchups over meals.

As Pui Ee’s parents reside overseas, they don’t get to meet often. To say that they miss each other would be an understatement, for we all know it goes way beyond that. Their love for each other, though unspoken, certainly knows no bounds.
